Ramsha Jamshaid is a first-generation Canadian who immigrated from Pakistan in 2002 and can fluently speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. She is an active member of her Pakistani and Muslim community and while pursuing her Undergraduate Degree, she volunteered at Muslim Shelters.
Ramsha graduated in 2013 with an Honours Degree in Political Science and a minor in Sociology and Religion from McMaster University. She decided to pursue her Law Degree (LLB) from the University of London and is currently working towards her qualifications to practice as a lawyer in Ontario.
In 2016 Ramsha joined Taragh Bracken’s team working on family law matters with Taragh. Throughout her time with Taragh, she has gained extensive experience in Family Law matters, including the Hague Convention, Uncontested Trials and Ex-Parte Motions to travel. She has assisted overseas clients with Out of Ontario divorces, child abductions and travel without parental consents. Once Ramsha is called to the Bar, she hopes to continue to practice Family Law at TMB Law.
