Taragh graduated from University College of Dublin with an Undergraduate Degree in Arts and Economics.  She qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland in 1996 and travelled setting up immigration offices in Ireland, Peru and Malaysia.  Taragh continued her career in Canada as an articling student with Toronto Counsel who specialized in Bankruptcy Law.  She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999 and eventually opened her own practice in Durham in 2004, specializing in Family Law. Taragh’s background in Bankruptcy and Real Estate Law have assisted in her development to negotiate good settlements in financial and property disputes in Family Law.

Taragh represents all her clients with a practical and reasonable approach and will attempt to negotiate a settlement prior to reverting to litigation.  It is important to Taragh that children do not get caught up in parental disputes and is a strong advocate for children.  While having an excellent rapport with members of the Bar in Durham and Toronto, her tenacity in a courtroom when defending and representing the interest of her clients is unparalleled.  She stands strongly by her clients during one of the most difficult times in their lives and fights to get positive results for everyone
